You can read it online at www2.oxfordshire.gov.uk/hlpdownloads/ca151105.htm (Item 7 on the agenda). It was discussed, and its recommendations agreed, at the meeting of the County Council's Cabinet on Tuesday, 15th November. ** Oxfordshire County Council commissioned transport planning consultants Halcrow to identify measures to improve the London Road between The Plain and the Green Road roundabout. The key aims of the Study are: 1. To improve bus journey times and bus reliability; 2. To ensure that bus services are attractive and convenient for people to use; and 3. To improve road safety, especially in the Headington shops and St Clement's area. Three exhibitions were held between 28th June and 2nd July 2005 to outline possible options drawn up by Halcrow for achieving these aims, and to receive feedback from residents. * The Headington Committee for Development Action (HCDA) has published its response, and this is available online at www.hcda.org.uk You can read more about the London Road Study, and its importance, by reading these earlier articles:'London Road Study - limited progress update' (28th Feb, 2007) - www.stephentall.org.uk/news/000497.html 'London Road gridlock: a soon-to-be-former resident writes...'
